Technology
  • Agfa HealthCare. I write customer case studies, white papers, data sheets and press releases for this leading vendor of healthcare information management equipment and networks.
  • Cisco Systems, a world leader in computer networking solutions. As a freelancer, I write technology briefing documents for internal communications, web page copy, customer case studies and succcess stories. As a Cisco employee, I was a technology PR manager and content manager for their newsroom, an interactive press portal.
  • SVM Marcom, a Providence-based marketing communications firm. I provide SVM clients with white papers, bylined articles, web page copy, and other marketing collateral.
  • CoActiv Medical Business Solutions, a provider of digital radiology imaging and storage solutions for hospitals and imaging clinics, contracted me to work on their first customer case study.
  • GTECH. I wrote technical proposals and bylined articles for this global IT company.
  • H-P, one of the world's largest IT companies. At H-P, I was a PR manager for computer storage products including CD-writers and DVD-writers.
Science 
  • Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary's SIMoN (Sanctuary Integrated Monitoring) Project. For this organization, which organizes and observes Sanctuary research projects, I wrote and edited their newsletter.
  • Conservation Law Foundation, a New England-based environmental advocacy group. I conducted research on the activities of a government agency.
  • Earth Friendly Gardening. I am the founder and primary contributor for this sustainable gardening blog.
  • Farm & Garden. I contributed articles to this (now defunct) online community and magazine.
  • Kent County Daily Times. I wrote a nature and gardening column called "Brown on Green" for this Rhode Island daily newspaper.
  • Natural News Network. For NNN, an online magazine about green living in Rhode Island, I wrote a monthly gardening column.
Education
  • American Educational Products, a manufacturer of educational games, books, and toys
  • Marine Advanced Technology Education (MATE) Center, a non-profit organization that helps improve the quality of ocean-related technology education. I am the writer and editor of their newsletter and I manage their media relations.
  • University of North Carolina's Development Office, which manages the University's fundraising efforts
  • University of North Carolina School of Pharmacy Alumni Office, which manages fundraising efforts for the School
Other
  • American Heart Association, a major national non-profit organization
  • Rhode Island for Healthcare, a non-profit organization sponsored by the Service Employees International Union and dedicated to fair healthcare in Rhode Island
